You shall not find many casinos out there which are offering you to play for fun. But you can enjoy that thing online card rooms. You can get the flavor of playing poker before you pour real money behind it. But the rules are not that tight or easy like real one which is not an identical representation. Another feature of playing online poker is you can play for money but it will be as low as $0.10 to$ 0.20 and the real ones tell another story where the limit may be $2 to $4 therefore, playing online is less risky. Not only that but also you can enjoy more hand per hour playing online than in casinos. That means you are likely to make more money.

On the other hand, playing online means you do not bother going to any casino standing tall and having some bad pain in the legs. You can enjoy playing Texas Hold’em sitting comfortably at home. Nevertheless, it is way convenient to be at home than at casinos. Think, you want to drive to a casino and reaching the casino you will have to wait on the board and after playing you have to come home. The entire process kills as much time as you can play some more matches sitting at home. Whereas, the game is on online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and you will not bother waiting for seat. This not only saves you time but also makes you feel fine.
Unlike the available casinos, online offers you a range of sites where you can find Texas Hold’em tournaments every now and then. Ordinary casinos hold Texas Hold’em tournaments very few times a week. You can check your luck and play tournaments online with the least possible bets. Another feature of playing Texas Hold’em online is you do not have to see other participants, and they do not either. Therefore, if you make any mistake, it will not be as bad as the real ones. So, play online and have fun. Why would you waste your time going to casinos? Play, win, have fun and experience the difference.

Cautions in Texas Hold’em

There can be question in the players’ mind whether they should play Texas Hold’em for a living or not. Well the simple answer shall be “no”. It is always suggested that you play it for fun. You should play the game to avoid monotony. Never take it like since I have got some time out there, I can take some money from online for sure. It can be reversed that means there is a possibility to lose money as well. You are always suggested to play when you think you are comfortable and simultaneously you have got plenty of time in hand.  If you are having a losing streak for a couple of time, you will have to quit the game for a while lest you might lose your money that you did not expect.

Fund management is another task. It is strongly suggested that you drop down a limit unless you win two times as you are experiencing a consecutive losing session. You need to do that whenever the situation is against you. Winning only happens in dream. You may lose some games as well as win some games and it happens to all players no matter how experienced he or she is. If sorrow comes, delight will come once but you need to wait for the correct time. Don’t be in a hurry.
You can anticipate the way the others are playing with you. Here it makes the difference. If your anticipation regarding the other players is accurate, you are unlikely to lose. Another thing is to keep in mind is to avoid the players who bluff. It is not easy though but caution is caution.
In no limit Hold’em, you are allowed to play hands in different ways. It is not necessary that you play a big pot in each pot. If you are running short of money, bet a less. Bear in mind that good players are not bound to win every time they play.
In poker games, thinking about winning at the end of the day is not always ok. Think about the opponents. The basic to win a poker game is to get paid off on your good hands.

Following are the most familiar and popular forms of poker games with a brief explanation of each of them:

Texas Hold’em

This is mostly known and popular form of all card games played around the world and also in online. In most cases people think poker means just Texas Hold’em. The number of players can range from two to ten in a Texas hold’em table. This is popular mainly because of its simple game rules and fast paced game play. In every round in Texas Hold’em there are four betting rounds where every player gets two cards faced down and a total of five community cards are dealt for all the players on the poker table to use. The player having greatest five-card hand at showdown wins the pot.

Omaha Poker

The number of players in Omaha poker is the same as Texas Hold’em from two to ten with the same rule of four betting rounds. In this form of poker every player need to combine two of the hole cards and three of community cards to form the best five-card hand. There are different variants of Omaha like Omaha 8, Omaha Hi-lo etc each having different rules.  In Omaha 8 the participants can also aim to make a low five cards hand too.

Seven Card Stud

This is another form of poker which is played having two to eight participants on the table. It has five betting rounds with an early ante before any betting. Every participant gets three poker cards face down and four community cards are kept to see for all the players.  The hand with the best five cards wins the round in seven card stud.
There are so many other forms but these are most popular forms of poker games.
